The Company

British Officers Don't Duck is very much a one man band (although I do get the odd bit of support from my poor wife who has suffered through all the research and being dragged around the battlefield during our honeymoon). It was set up after I finally felt I had rules that did what I wanted!

About Me

I have been a wargamer since around 1980 when my father bought me the Airfix Guide to World War Two Wargaming by Bruce Quarrie. Being a typical gamer I very quickly started to write house rules, continually tinkering to try to get something that I felt captured the way battles were fought.

In 2023 I graduated with an MA in Military History, something I did for fun!
